Not officially a camp 3 member anymore, but with the recent website controversy over Prestbyterian churches, I must assure you that they're not all bad/strange/doctrinally deficient etc. I'm at one in Durham and it's absolutely great - very good teaching, very friendly and nice singing, even though there's no accompaniment. Well there's history. A uni student who has enough time to add to, let alone look at the website. |

+ Hang on right there.... "I must assure you that they're not all bad/strange/doctrinally deficient etc." Thoughtless, Presbeterian churches are not that. The one you go to in Durham is part of the same presbetery as our one. Is Brian Norton the minister? Well, my church is just like that. There was no controversy at all... |

Sorry, didn't mean to be so angry. You say Presbeterians are doctinally deficient. In what ways? Are we strange? and for that please don't use me as an example... Shame that in our church.. even though accompanied... the singing is pretty near diabolical. |

+ Well, (this is bad technique for a prospective lawyer, i.e little evidence to back up my assertion) from what i read in previous topics, ppl thought there were, shall we say, differences. Enlighten me, 'coz I'm not that sure myself - what's your church's stance on baptism, for example? Hey, you didn't sound angry! |

Baptism, we've been through this before... Stance on baptism would be to baptise the infants of believers. Basically our church holds to the Westminister Confession of Faith in everything it says... |

+ Presbeterian churches are sound. The singing doesn't matter whether it's accompanied or not or whether it's good or bad in our hearing. |

+ Truth in all that statement and the grammar was exceptional. *hint* |
