General knowledge about christian music is... as one guy at my church put it (in all seriousness) It's supposed to be cheesy. This is general christian mentality... the quality doesn't need to be good.. it's the words that count. I seem to recall a bit in the beginning of the Bible where it says... "And God saw all that he had made and it was VERY GOOD!" Please note... it didn't say.. "VERY CHEESY so they made do with that." I'm being serious... althought the words are important we should strive to create a "beautiful vehicle" (as PF guitarist describes music) to transport our lyrics. Just because there is this mentality that the music doesn't matter DON'T be put off! We need some good christian bands in the world!
